Digital & AI CoE Lead — lead the Immuno Global Operations Center of Excellence dedicated to AI at Diasorin. Overview Diasorin is a global leader in diagnostic solutions and is looking for an experienced AI & ML leader to explore, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies that drive efficiency, product quality, and sustainability in our Immuno Operations. Key Responsibilities Research market trends and emerging AI technologies and assess their feasibility and impact on industrial processes. Collaborate with business units to identify high‑impact AI use cases, prioritise them, and construct solid business cases. Design and implement strategies to integrate new technologies that streamline processes, reduce energy consumption, and improve product quality. Partner with functional stakeholders (Site Leaders, Department Heads, Production, EHS, QA, IT) to translate business needs into technical requirements and promote technology adoption. Lead pilot projects and design experiments to test new technologies from concept to implementation and evaluation. Develop and maintain AI model development, validation, and monitoring frameworks across business applications. Support strategic planning and budgeting, contribute to long‑term AI strategy, and manage knowledge sharing across sites. Define and maintain KPIs and compliance metrics to ensure alignment with GxP and industry standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Software, Industrial, Automation, Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience designing AI/ML models; experience in Pharma or Diagnostics is a plus. Strong engineering background, creative problem‑solving skills, and passion for continuous improvement. Deep understanding of manufacturing processes/equipment, digitalisation (Industry 4.0/5.0) and basic Lean tools. Proven track record managing end‑to‑end AI projects, with strong financial acumen and ability to deliver on time and within budget. Experience in GxP regulation compliance, software development, and data governance. Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Italian or other languages is a plus.
