PpWe are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Financial Planning Analysis (FPA) team. This role will be responsible for leading and optimizing the financial planning and analysis processes for GREF, ensuring accurate cost distribution, driving financial transparency across the organization. This role will also support execution of global initiatives and improvements across the greater GREF landscape. This individual will work with global business partners, local finance teams, accounting teams, and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver on these goals. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 h3Financial Planning, Analysis, and Process Optimization /h3 ul liDevelop, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end financial planning and analysis processes, methodologies, and frameworks for GREF /li liLead the design and execution of financial models that support accurate financial reporting and decision‑making /li liCollaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives and growth plans /li liOwn system integrations and data flow related to FPA processes /li liStay current with industry best practices and integrate innovative approaches into GREF's financial planning and analysis methodologies /li /ul h3Financial Analysis and Reporting /h3 ul liOversee the production of high‑quality financial reports and analyses related to GREF operations /li liDevelop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of financial processes /li liProvide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic decision‑making /li liLead monthly reviews of financial and operating metrics, analyze variances to forecast, and communicate key drivers to senior management /li /ul h3Chart of Accounts Management and Systems Ownership /h3 ul liServe as the subject matter expert for IBM Cognos/TM1, FRAMES, and Spectra /li liLead system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations for these platforms to support GREF's financial processes /li liProvide training and support to team members and stakeholders on the use of these systems for financial planning and reporting purposes /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul li7+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience /li li7+ years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience /li li7+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience /li li7+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making experience /li li7+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience /li liBachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re‑engineering, quality assurance) experience /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul li6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience /li li6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience /li liMBA, or CPA /li liKnowledge of SQL/ETL /li liExperience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) /li liExperience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results /li /ul pOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
