Small Diameter Drilling Operators
Requirements:
1. Correctly operate assigned drilling machines and equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, performing pre-operational checks in accordance with company procedures and project specifications, while ensuring the required quality standards.
2. Comply with safety procedures on construction sites.
3. Ensure work execution meets the project's technical specifications.
4. Set up and operate assigned equipment efficiently to minimize wear and downtime while ensuring required productivity.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
6. Report any QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) violations to the supervisor.
7. Guarantee safe operation and productivity of the machinery.
8. Prepare daily reports on machine productivity.
9. Manage and maintain all assigned equipment.
10. Support the supervisor in departmental activities.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
11. Understanding of onboard instrumentation functions and ability to cross-check with direct methods (depth, rotation, .
12. Familiarity with the Method Statement, project quality standards, and competence in completing quality control forms.
13. Ability to assess drilling quality and drilling mud, and to inspect extracted material at the borehole mouth.
14. Skill in equipment placement (layout, direction, machine stability, use of steel plates).
15. Ability to evaluate the most suitable drilling technique and tool for specific conditions.
16. Expertise in selecting appropriate pressures, thrust, and torque, as well as adjusting rotation and descent speeds.
17. Proficiency in casing operations.
