The person will take the ownership of the financial planning and analysis process, ensures robust financial reporting, and contributes to the sustainable growth of the business through insightful performance monitoring, risk management, and continuous process improvement.
KEY TASKS:
* Oversee end-to-end administrative processes — including Invoice to Pay, Order to Cash, General Accounting, and Fiscal Fulfillment
* Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with Group accounting standards and local GAAP
* Prepare the monthly reporting package; develop and monitor key financial metrics, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to drive operational efficiency and profitability
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support strategic decision-making and optimize business performance
* Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
* Oversee the standard cost process and related variances, inventory management, capex and cost centers
* Ensure full compliance with group policies and local requirements
* Identify financial risks and ensure robust internal controls, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to corporate governance standards
* Design and develop SOX controls and support the internal audit function
* Drive automation, streamline financial processes, and champion the adoption of digital tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency
* Oversee liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and working capital optimization
* Participate in statutory auditors' meetings; support external consultants and auditors
* Evaluate business cases, investment opportunities, and capital expenditures to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
* Accounting certification or Master's degree in Business required
* Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex and extended Finance & Administration processes
* Fluent in English and Italian
* High digital literacyDeep knowledge of international accounting standards, local fiscal regulations, and statutory reporting
* Proven track record in managing outsourced services and vendor contracts
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience leading multicultural and cross-functional teams
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a structured and data-driven approach
* Ability to drive innovation, transformation, and operational excellence across multiple geographies
* Travel required to other locations (20%)
