What you’ll do: Be the Guest Service Rockstar: Help guests have an amazing time and create unforgettable memories, by delivering friendly, approachable service, chatting to guests to make genuine connections. Dream up fun & engaging activities that get guests engaged and smiling and embody the unique Moxy experience! Be an all-rounder: From greeting guests at the front desk, to crafting delicious drinks as a barista or a bartender, you’ll wear many hats! Tackle the guest issues you can handle and pass along the tricky ones! Proactively offer guests useful information and help with any questions. Keep our food & beverage spots and merchandise looking sharp and ready for action! Be prepared to help out where needed and get involved in a wide variety of tasks. Ensure your own skills are up to date by attending training and learning new processes Check-In/Out Magic: Manage our hotel room inventory and make check-ins and check-outs efficient and friendly in the Moxy way! Make sure the lobby always looks Instagram-ready by proactively ensuring it’s clean and tidy! Ensure every guest gets charged correctly for their stay and goodies. Brilliant breakfasts: work with your team to create brilliant breakfast experience for our guests on a daily basis. Ensure breakfast is displayed to Marriott standards, help guest navigate the breakfast area and ensure a smooth and efficient service Promote the Moxy vibe: Spread the excitement of the Moxy experience and promote the Marriott Bonvoy program particularly during check ins and check outs. Bar & Barista: Create a welcoming and lively bar area, that’s the beating heart of the hotel, whilst serving up fantastic drinks. Know and follow local licensing laws. Back of House Hero: Take the lead on cleaning duties in the back and keep everything neat and tidy, ensuring a smooth operation. Food Prep & Delivery: Prepare delicious food, that’s presented to a high standard. Restock supplies ensuring that stock levels are maintained. Keep the back area organised. Operate our food and beverage area with flair ensuring breakfast meets expectations and it presented beautifully. Adhere to local food standards and laws. Team Player: Work with your teammates to deliver that stellar Moxy experience! Lend a helping hand and follow your leaders’ directions! Be ready to tackle any other tasks that come your way and help out the team when needed. Jump in to help train and support new colleagues. Safety First: Stick to food, alcohol licensing, security, and health & safety policies like a champ! When trained, be prepared to jump and help during emergencies! Brand Ambassador: Promote the Marriott brand to guests and bring brand standards to life to deliver excellence and meet brand audit standards.
