AUDITOR
PURPOSE OF ROLE
Conduct audit reviews of assigned organizational and functional activities in assigned areas to examine the operations and the adequacy of the system of control to achieve established objectives.

Principal Accountabilities
* Conduct audit reviews of assigned organizational and functional activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of operations and the adequacy of the system of control to achieve established objectives.
* Determine whether organizational units in the affiliate are performing their planning, accounting, custodial, or control activities in compliance with management instructions, policy statements and procedures and in a manner consistent with high standards of administrative practice.
* Plan the theory and scope of the audit reviews including preliminary survey and assist the audit manager in the preparation of audit programs
* Determine the auditing procedures to be used including statistical sampling and the use of electronic data processing equipment
* Assist in the performance of detailed audit planning of individual reviews including risk assessment.
* Evaluate a system's effectiveness through the application of a knowledge of business systems, including financial, manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and other operations and his / her understanding of auditing techniques
* Performs audit reviews in a professional manner so as to ensure independence, objectivity and quality of the review while maintaining the highest possible standards
* Obtain, analyse, and appraise evidentiary data as a base for an informed, objective, opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the systems of control and the efficiency of performance of the activities being reviewed
* Make oral or written presentations to management during and at the conclusion of the reviews, discussing deficiencies, effectiveness and adequacy of internal controls and recommending corrective action to improve operations and reduce cost
* Prepare formal reports expressing opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the systems of control and the efficiency with which they are being carried out
* Appraise the adequacy of the corrective actions taken to improve deficiencies in the systems of control
* Maintain an effective working relationship with the operating unit management
* Assist the regional audit manager in coordinating and planning the activities of the audit unit through the identification of related exposure and risks to the affiliate.
* Assist the regional audit manager in the preparation of budgets, cost control monitoring and other general administration issues
* Prepare memos as and when required in completed form for the review of the regional audit manager
* Ensure that the documentation and working papers for each reviewed activity are sufficient, complete and filed appropriately, indexed and cross referenced to the agreed audit program thus ensuring an appropriate audit trail
* Conduct and monitor, with local executive management, all required follow up on audit recommendations
* Assist the regional audit manager in coordinating and documenting the Local Audit Review Meetings with the operating unit executive management in order to ensure compliance with audit recommendations
Requirements
* At least 4 years of experience in international audit.
* Fluent knowledge of the English language
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong sense of responsibility
Offer
Work location: South Rome Permanent contract RAL: 40–45K + bonus 2 days of remote work per week
