The Production Planner coordinates the production schedule to meet customer demand, optimize resource utilization, and ensure on‐time delivery. This role coordinates across departments—including supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and sales—to balance inventory levels, capacity, and lead times. The Planner uses forecasting data, sales trends, and production capabilities to create efficient and achievable schedules while minimizing costs and ensuring high service levels.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders and forecasted demand.
* Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources needed for production.
* Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses.
* Collaborate with production team to identify and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues.
* Analyze production data and make recommendations for process improvements or efficiency enhancements.
* Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and order fulfillment.
* Understand customer priorities and align with production to ensure company is meeting customer expectations.
* Process and manage all order launched in SAP ERP and manages backlog report.
* Coordinate with Shipping and Receiving on incoming orders and deliveries as requested by the customer.
* Collaborate and communicate with departments to ensure finished goods are flowing to shipping area.
* Collects all data necessary for invoice packages on outgoing orders. xrdztoy
