This role focuses on managing personnel and operational flows within the Assembly and Final Control Department to enhance the operational structure of the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Production Manager and other manufacturing leaders and teams to meet the factory's strategic goals.
- Track production and ensure monthly delivery targets and other KPIs are met by coordinating workforce and material availability.
- Encourage a robust commitment to safety principles and to high-quality product delivery.
- Support the development of employees' skills by structuring and implementing appropriate training initiatives.
- Manage the production activities according to SKF Production System (SPS) principles, promoting and monitoring related activities (e.g., daily management, 5S, resetting, problem solving).
- Promote and encourage a culture of innovation in the team.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or technical high‐school education with several years in a manufacturing environment and in managing people.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of manual and 3D measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies (meritorious).
- Proficiency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated experience performing effectively under tight deadlines.
- Previous working experience in the aerospace environment (meritorious).
Additional Information
The position will be located at Villar Perosa (Turin), on a local contract. The holder will report to the Production Manager, OEM Avio, who is located in Villar Perosa (Turin).
