As part of our AFC service, this position reports to the Accounting & Tax Manager and will be part of a supportive team.
Main activities & accountabilities:
* Completing and managing general accounting of German branch
* Completing and managing the accounting and financial reporting according to Group timetable
* Working with branches to ensure a daily information exchange
* Driving change, innovation and continuous improvement in support of business operations
* Manage Fixed Assets and Inventory ledger
* Review accounts and investigate exception accounts
* Monitoring and effectively support to the trade payables, including invoices posting and paying process
* Liaising with internal and external personnel vis-à-vis compliance, auditing, tax
Requirements:
* Degree in Economics
* 2 years of working experience in accounting field
* Excellent knowledge of English; a second foreign language between French or German would represent a plus
* Excellent applied knowledge of an ERP system (preferably SAP)
* Excellent knowledge of International Accounting Principles (IAS/IFRS)
* Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
* Result and solution oriented
* Excellent team building skills
