Role Overview:
The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for organizing and supervising electrical commissioning, start-up, and maintenance activities, ensuring full compliance with HSE regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
The role involves coordinating with engineering, construction, and operations teams, overseeing vendor activities, and ensuring proper implementation of electrical isolation and Permit to Work procedures. The Electrical Superintendent ensures activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project schedules to support successful plant start-up and operational readiness.

Contract Duration: 9 months
Working Hours: Up to 10 hours per day / 6 days per week

Tasks:
- Support the HSE Manager for aspects falling within the area of responsibility and for the preparation of the general HSE plan.
- Ensure that all activities within the area of responsibility are carried out in full compliance with HSE requirements.
- Actively contribute to Safety Walk Downs; in case of incidents, contribute to investigations.
- Verify that the Commissioning & Start-up requirements are accounted for in the engineering documents.
- Take part in project planning and scheduling.
- Review vendor schedules and assignments related to commissioning, start-up, and test run activities.
- Follow up on completion and commissioning activities.
- Issue progress reports within the area of responsibility.
- Contribute to the planning and scheduling of job routines under the project Maintenance Plan, including assigning resources, materials, and logistics.
- Through the team, be responsible for Preventive Maintenance, Condition-Based Maintenance, and Corrective Maintenance.
- Coordinate vendors at site within the assigned operating area.
- Approve work orders as per Permit to Work procedure to enable execution of scheduled works.
- Ensure correct implementation of electrical isolation control through the Switch Board locking and unlocking register.
- Identify gaps in personnel through extensive training and implement plans to bridge them.
- Optimize the Maintenance Plan, spare parts, and manpower according to plant feedback.
