Our client, part of an international group in the construction industry, has instructed us to look for a PROJECT MANAGER.
The Project Manager reports directly to Top Management.
Activities include:
1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion;
2. Manage communications with Client, Landlord, Client’s Consultant, Direction of Works, Suppliers;
3. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs;
4. Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations;
5. Coordinate construction team;
6. Supervise construction workers and subcontractors;
7. Meet contractual conditions of performance;
8. Review work progress daily;
9. Prepare internal and external reports regarding job status;
10. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve emerging issues;
11. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses;
12. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks;
13. Ensure quality construction standards and proper techniques;
14. Availability to attend site visits in Italy and abroad.
Requirements include:
* Bachelor's degree in project & construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field;
* Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods;
* Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, regulations, and quality standards;
* Understanding of all facets of the construction process;
* Familiarity with project management software;
* Ability to plan strategically;
* Conflict and crisis management skills;
* Availability for transfers in Italy and abroad (mainly Europe).
Soft skills required:
* Leadership and human resources management skills;
* Excellent time and project management skills;
* Flexibility, enthusiasm, and motivation.
Languages: Fluent in English, French preferable.
Workplace: The company's headquarters are in Milan.
Working hours: Full-time.
