As an Account Solution Engineer (Presales Consultant, Sales Consultant, Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer), you’ll be a key player in the sales cycle, delivering thought leadership and owning solutions to enhance our customers’ experience. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, support our sales team, and translate business objectives into compelling recommendations. You’ll present our product offerings, address objections, and inspire confidence in our technology infrastructure. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to our customers while aiding the customer’s transformational journey.


Responsibilities

* Coordinate and support the entire solution cycle through close collaboration with other teams.
* Understand the customer’s needs and establish Salesforce’s product as the best solution that solves unique challenges, particularly within the Manufacturing sector.
* Convey a deep understanding of the client’s industry and technology as it pertains to Salesforce’s solutions, including business processes and challenges.
* Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions and build and present customized demos of Salesforce products to key decision-makers, showing business value.
* Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to maintain vital knowledge for effectiveness.
* Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.
* Respond efficiently to RFPs.
* Lead the technical side of the sales cycle.
* Engage in internal training programs and mentorship initiatives to grow your career.


Required Qualifications

* Experience in pre-sales (solution engineering), consultancy, delivery, or training success for an enterprise software solution organization.* We are open to a variety of backgrounds.
* Proven oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
* Proven time management skills in a dynamic team environment.
* Ability to work as part of a team to tackle problems in dynamic, energizing environments.
* Inquisitive, practical, and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge.
* Loves to be the first to know something and to understand why and how things happen.
* Good at searching out information, experimenting, and tackling puzzles.
* Good at explaining ideas and keeping people’s attention.
* Willing and able to travel occasionally.
* Experience evaluated based on alignment to core competencies (e.g., extracurricular leadership, military experience, volunteer work).
* Fluency in Italian and English.


Preferred Qualifications

* This role is mainly focused on the Manufacturing industry; prior experience in this vertical is preferable but not mandatory.
* Basic understanding of customer business requirements within Manufacturing and knowledge of industry-specific solutions (e.g., supply chain management, production planning, quality management, Industry 4.0).
* Experience with Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud or other leading manufacturing applications is a plus.
* Salesforce product knowledge and certifications.
