Context & Impact:
We’re hiring a Senior UX Researcher to strengthen our UX capability as Lansweeper continues evolving into a Cyber Asset Intelligence platform.
As one of two dedicated researchers, you will drive end-to-end UX research (generative & evaluative) across multiple product squads — shaping not just features, but overall product direction in complex cybersecurity and IT domains.
We are expanding further into cybersecurity-related use cases (vulnerability management, risk & compliance, asset visibility, identity & permissions). That means new buyer personas, new problem spaces, and strategic research that informs where the product goes next — not just how it looks.
Your mission: ensure we don’t just ship features — we build the right solutions for IT admins, security teams, SOC analysts, and enterprise stakeholders operating in complex, data-heavy environments.
This is a highly strategic, hands‑on role reporting to the Director of UX, working across Product, Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end‑to‑end user research across discovery and validation: interviews, field studies, usability testing, surveys, concept validation
* Drive strategic research projects that influence product direction and long‑term roadmap decisions
* Partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and senior stakeholders to validate assumptions and shape initiatives early
* Work across multiple squads simultaneously, ensuring research scales across initiatives
* Apply strong qualitative and quantitative research methods, combining interviews with product usage data (Pendo)
* Own and optimise participant recruitment, panel management, and Research Ops workflows
* Manage research insights and repositories using tools like Dovetail, Typeform, Pendo
* Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights that influence executive decision‑making
Key Requirements
* 5+ years’ experience as a Senior UX Researcher in B2B SaaS / enterprise software
* Proven experience running end‑to‑end research (generative & evaluative) independently
* Experience leading strategic research initiatives that informed product direction
* Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
* Experience researching complex, data‑heavy platforms (ideally cybersecurity, IT operations, compliance, risk, or asset management domains)
* Hands‑on experience with participant recruitment, panel management, and Research Ops processes
* Skilled with research and analytics tools (Dovetail, Typeform, Pendo or equivalents)
* Comfortable engaging technical users such as IT administrators, security teams, engineers, SOC analysts
* Strong facilitator with excellent listening and moderation skills
* Strategic thinker — able to zoom out from features to problem spaces
* Highly organized and comfortable juggling multiple research tracks across squads
* Confident communicator who can translate complex findings into executive‑ready insights
* Collaborative mindset — UX as an integrated part of Product, not a silo
