BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
As outlined in the WFP supply chain strategic roadmap for the period 2022 – 2025, the Supply Chain Operations SCDR Research & Development (SCDR)unit was created to ensure continuous innovation of WFP's supply chain activities through the adoption of state-of-the-art strategies, business models and technology, including those developed at a field level. SCDR leads the adoption of innovative technological tools and industry best practices to optimize the use of resources, enhance analysis, and facilitate real time, data-driven decision making. SCDR also leads the partnership with the technology division on data integration, pursuing opportunities to create operational workflows that facilitate decision-making.
The Information Management Junior Consultant will support analytics, produce communication and information material, as well as support the Unit's operational activities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collate and analyse data and contribute to preparation of accurate and timely reporting, supporting a clear view of supply chain staffing-related activities that enables informed decision-making and consistent information for stakeholders and for the senior managers of the Division;

• Reorganise data used by the unit and consistently update

• Recommend and assist with the installation of more appropriate software for data storage and analysis;

• Assist with the regular analysis of HR stats for management decision making purposes;

• Assist with the preparation of documents and information management products; carry out research and editing;

• Assist in maintaining documentation formats, databases, reporting systems and with the presentation of material;

• Take and keep notes/meeting Minutes as needed;

• Support the team on other communications initiatives;

• Update and create entries for new profiles in the database

• Contribute to building talent within the Supply Chain Division, working with managers to understand their needs to recruit a high calibre workforce to deliver business objectives;

• Assist in the evaluation of internal and external candidates by managing technical assessments, support the shortlisting of candidates and carry out reference checks

• Perform other duties as required.
