We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with proven experience, strong sense of ownership and passion for defining and driving large cross‑functional programs. The candidate should be self‑driven, have the ability to learn quickly and influence decision‑making across organizations. In this position, you will work closely with various Amazon business units to gather, refine and drive program goals including compliance and financial management. You will have the opportunity to implement new processes and procedures driving continuous improvement while interacting with a broad range of stakeholders across Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
Work closely with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to manage the compliance and reporting requirements of the global AWS subsea network.
Manage and report our compliance requirements and response, policy development, and compliance training.
Undertake financial and project management within the subsea engineering team to support the ongoing operations of our in‑service network.
Specific knowledge of submarine cable deployment and operation is looked for, but is not necessary.
A day in the life
Our subsea projects are multi‑year in duration, requiring careful planning, disciplined execution and constant invention and simplification. We work with internal and external stakeholders and partners, driving projects to meet our goals and timelines. We ensure that the delivery of the projects meets our high standards and specifications. When faced with an issue or delay, we invent to solve for the roadblock and alert customers along the way. Communications are crisp, timely and always advise a path forward. We learn from each other, ensuring global consistency.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years’ experience in Program Management, preferably on a global scale, with the ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects.
Knowledge and experience with submarine cable systems.
Experience in automation, operational excellence, or continuous improvement techniques.
Experience in compliance and risk management including developing and executing compliance management techniques.
Experience interacting with and guiding senior management within a company and working across commercial, technical, domestic, and international arms of an organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with AI tools and automating workflows.
Ability to merge traditional project management with agile processes.
Experience in compiling financial records and forecasts.
Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
