The opportunity
For our Business Unit Transformers based in Monselice (PD) we are looking for young talents with an electrical or mechanical background to join the engineering team which is responsible for oil-filled power transformers design.

How you’ll make an impact as an Electrical / Mechanical Designer in Hitachi Energy
4. Develop electromechanical designs, utilizing standard engineering tools and processes to ensure designs meet industry standards and safety regulations.
5. Contribute to design reviews and design verification together with project design team.
6. Analyze customer contractual documents, technical specifications in order to understand the customer needs and highlight any critical issue.
7. Attend project planning meetings to track design progress and ensure timely delivery, contributing to efficient project execution.
8. Take responsibility of the costs of projects, creating cost sheet, and monitor it during the execution of projects.
9. Report any contract / quality / cost issues to management, along with recommendations for resolution.
10. Give support during transformer manufacturing stage to solve issues and to assure top level quality.
11. Gather and integrate customer feedback on design requirements, using insights to guide future product enhancements.
Your background
12. Bachelor degree in Electrical / Mechanical engineering;
13. 1-2 years of experience in a technical department is a plus;
14. Experience in transformers field is a plus;
15. Good knowledge of 2D CAD software and 3D modelling, with preference to PTC Creo;
16. Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English (B1/B2);
17. Proactivity, good attention to detail, flexibility, team working and strong communication skills are required;
18. Availability for short, occasional trips to customers/suppliers.
