In this pivotal role, you will serve as a consultant within our finance team, delivering essential controllership support to clients across diverse industries. Your expertise will not only influence financial strategies but will also guide and mentor our teams of Cloud Accountants. Accountabilities
* Manage the activities of teams processing financial transactions, payroll, and benefit administration.
* Produce and review monthly and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
* Manage cash effectively and provide rolling cash flow forecasts.
* Support the management team with business analyses.
* Manage relationships with audit firms for annual audits and tax activities.
* Oversee financial, operational, and administrative systems and recommend improvements.
Requirements
* 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in small and mid-sized organizations.
* Knowledge in finance and back-office functions: accounting, budgeting, tax, audit, payroll.
* Ability to train and mentor junior accountants.
* Evaluate accounting systems and produce financial statements and forecasts.
* Proficiency in accounting software, especially QBO.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
* High ethical standards and a collaborative nature.
* Strong team orientation with a proactive attitude.
