What You Will Do Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Perform variance analysis on a monthly basis to monitor the performances of each department. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance internal controls. Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Monitor cash flow, ensuring financial stability and liquidity. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities. Drive process improvements and automation in financial operations. What We Are Looking For Experience : 3-5 years of previous experience as a Controller or in a similar position, preferably in the ed-tech or education sector. Bachelor's degree : in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred). Proven experience : in financial management, accounting, or auditing roles. Strong knowledge : of financial reporting standards (GAAP / IFRS) and regulatory compliance. Excellent : analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency : in financial software and ERP systems. Able : to create and deal dashboards with tools like PowerBI or Tableau. Strong : communication and interpersonal skills.
