Role Overview
Demand Planner – ensures a smooth flow of information and products between Sales, Category Marketing, and factories. Maintains accurate forecasts, supports supply planning, and provides insights for planning and inventory decisions.
What You'll Do
* Lead weekly demand review meetings.
* Monitor and report on stock levels, long‐term projections, promotion plans, S&OP files, and monthly closure estimates.
* Manage long‐term forecasting processes and support Sales on Bottom‐Up forecast creation.
* Track and improve KPIs: SFA, LT, WOS, COI.
* Analyze sell‐out trends monthly and yearly.
* Develop sell‐out/sell‐in forecasts with Marketing Team.
* Evaluate seasonality curves and promotion impact on demand forecasts.
* Run forecast consensus meeting with Sales Leader, aligning cross‐functional teams.
* Maintain accuracy and visibility of all forecast reports and KPIs to support planning and operational decisions.
* Oversee supply planning, manage supply constraints, and maintain daily communication with factories.
* Manage product allocation with monthly planning and weekly adjustments.
* Follow up on orders, deliveries, and potential delays.
* Coordinate product SWAPs with other subsidiaries when needed.
What You Must Have
* Degree in Economics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
* Experience in demand planning, supply chain, business planning, or similar roles.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills, with ability to work with large data sets.
* Proficiency in Excel and confidence working with planning/reporting tools.
* Solid understanding of forecasting methodologies and supply chain fundamentals.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
* Detail‐oriented mindset and strong ownership of accuracy and deadlines.
Nice If You Have
* Experience in consumer electronics, FMCG, or multinational environments.
* Familiarity with S&OP processes and planning systems (e.g., SAP, APO, other ERP tools).
* Knowledge of statistical forecasting models.
* Previous involvement in stock management, allocation, or supply issue resolution.
* Ability to work in fast‐paced, dynamic, and matrix organizations.
* Curiosity, flexibility, and a proactive, solution‐oriented attitude.
