Le seguenti informazioni hanno lo scopo di fornire ai potenziali candidati una migliore comprensione dei requisiti per questo ruolo.Ship ServiceItaly + Travel€4,000 Net per Month (€2k base salary + Overtime)Accommodation ProvidedRotation: 8 Weeks On / 2 Weeks OffEU Passport / Right to Work in Italy RequiredA marine organisation is seeking an experienced Motorman to support engine room maintenance and repair activities on vessels operating across European ports, with occasional assignments in the USA and South America.This role involves working as part of a mobile technical team, supporting mechanical repair works, machinery maintenance, and engine room interventions during vessel port calls and repair campaigns.The RoleYou will assist with hands-on mechanical work in engine rooms, supporting the overhaul, repair, and maintenance of marine machinery while vessels are alongside in port or undergoing repair works.This is a practical mechanical position, requiring strong experience working with marine diesel engines and auxiliary systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with engine room maintenance and repair activitiesSupport overhaul and servicing of marine diesel engines and generatorsMaintain and service pumps, compressors, and auxiliary machineryAssist with fuel, lubrication, and cooling system maintenanceSupport technical teams during vessel repair and maintenance campaignsWork safely within engine room and shipboard mechanical environmentsPrepare and assist with basic maintenance xpavfwm reportingIdeal Candidate ProfilePrevious experience working as a Motorman / Engine Room RatingStrong hands-on experience with marine diesel engines and auxiliary machineryExperience supporting engine room maintenance or ship repair worksComfortable working within engine room and mechanical environmentsEU Passport or existing Right to Work in Italy required (No visa sponsorship available)English language required, Italiano a big plus
