For our Worldwide Information & Technology Transformation function, we are looking for a passionate Order Management System Specialist to join the IT Digital Team based at our HQ in Milan.
Your Impact
The OMS Specialist will support the evolution and daily management of our omnichannel order orchestration platform in a fast-paced luxury environment, building strong expertise in Order Management Systems, with a focus on Manhattan Active Omni (MAO). The resource will collaborate closely with internal teams and technology partners to ensure the platform's reliability, optimization, and continuous improvement across global omnichannel operations.
Activities
Ensure the stable and efficient daily operations of the OMS platform through proactive monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Order Management System to meet evolving business needs.
Develop deep expertise in the OMS platform and act as an internal reference point for OMS configurations, capabilities, and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Digital, Retail, Logistics and Finance to support solution design and delivery.
Contribute to integration activities between the OMS and other enterprise applications (e.g., eCommerce, ERP, WMS, POS).
Participate in testing activities (functional, integration, regression) to ensure solution quality and reliability.
Contribute to key omnichannel and digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications
Main Qualifications
Degree in technical disciplines (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Supply Chain).
3 years of experience working with Order Management Systems, retail systems, or eCommerce technology platforms.
Understanding of order lifecycle processes, including fulfilment, returns, inventory visibility, allocation logic, and store operations.
Experience with Manhattan Active Omni (MAO) or other OMS platforms is highly valued.
Familiarity with system integration concepts such as APIs, microservices, and data flows.
