The On‐Road Portfolio & Product Management Specialist contributes to the definition and execution of the product strategy for a dedicated sub‐segment within the On‐Highway business. The role supports the Head of On‐Road Portfolio & Product Management and collaborates closely with multiple internal stakeholders, operating with increasing autonomy in market analysis, product positioning and product communication activities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Develop understanding of the assigned On‐Road sub‐segment and support the definition of product strategies and priorities.
* Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, competitor activities and customer needs, transforming insights into clear recommendations.
* Contribute to the definition of product drivers and to the preparation of product roadmaps and mid‐long‐term scenarios.
* Conduct benchmarking and competitiveness assessments to identify improvement areas and strategic opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect requirements, support discussions and follow up on product‐related activities.
* Participate in workshops, technical meetings and cross‐functional discussions, ensuring clarity of product positioning and needs.
* Support communication flows between functions involved in development, marketing and commercial activities.
* Identify potential opportunities in applications, market segments or emerging technologies.
* Support value analysis and assessment of price positioning through market references and competitive evaluation.
* Contribute to the preparation of business inputs and competitive assessments for internal decision processes.
* Support the planning and execution of events, exhibitions and product communication initiatives related to the On‐Highway segment.
* Contribute to product presentations, marketing materials, storytelling content and internal/external communication assets.
* Support the creation and update of sales tools and commercial documentation, even by dedicated training delivery.
* Work with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Industrial and Quality teams to ensure alignment between product strategy, development and market needs.
* Provide market and product insights to regional teams and contribute to consistent execution across markets.
REQUIRED SKILLS & BACKGROUND
* Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Management Engineering preferred).
* 2–3 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Business Development or related roles in the automotive or capital goods sector.
* Experience in cross‐functional collaboration and customer/market analysis.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market information.
* Proactive attitude, autonomy in managing tasks and capacity to prioritize.
* Good communication skills and ability to present concepts clearly and effectively.
* Strategic mindset with a practical, execution‐oriented approach.
* Fluent in English, written and spoken.
* Proficiency in MS Office and standard digital tools. xjrgpwk
