About the job
* Analysis of project specifications to prepare time estimates, material costs, and manufacturing activity schedules.
* Mechanical calculation of pressure parts according to international codes (ASME, PED, AD2000, etc.).
* Analysis of actual costs versus bids to optimize future bids.
* Consultation with customers, suppliers, and internal staff to discuss estimates and pursue continuous improvement.
* Interface with the Purchasing Office for updated supplier and contractor lists.
* Establishing the company's cost standards for manufacturing activities.
* Participation in project definition and order opening meetings.
* Preparation of reports and analyses related to cost estimation.
* Preparation of technical offers with deviations or clarifications to project specifications.
What you know
* Preferred: Short/specialist degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical/Aerospace, or Energy engineering.
* At least 8 years' experience in costing pressure equipment, with at least 5 years in Shell & Tube heat exchangers for Oil & Gas applications.
* In-depth knowledge of mechanical calculation of pressure components per international codes including ASME.
* Knowledge of pressure service material specifications (ASME II and equivalents).
* Experience evaluating pressure equipment construction cycles and timings.
* Knowledge of mechanical and CAD drawing.
* Professional-level English language skills.
* Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
* Objective-oriented approach.
* Preferential skills: equipment for Ammonia, Urea, Ethylene, Methanol, Hydrogen, Power plants.
* Additional preference for experience with high-pressure fire tube boilers.
* Experience in similar roles internationally is advantageous.
* Basic understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
