The role
We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Quality Control Specialist / Quality Technician to join our team in the Laboratory on the production site. This role focuses on inspecting, testing, and evaluating products or raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining compliance with company and regulatory requirements while gaining valuable hands‑on experience in a dynamic environment.
Description of Main Activities / Responsibilities
Chemical and physical analyses of raw materials, semi‑finished, and finished products
Microbiological analyses of raw materials, semi‑finished, and finished products
Sensory analysis of raw materials, semi‑finished, and finished products
Calibration of instruments
Issuance of certificates of analysis
Shelf‑life analysis of finished products
Support activities for quality assurance (environmental swabbing, description of analytical methods, documentation of laboratory equipment usage)
Requirements
Education:
Degree in Food Science & Technologies.
Professional Skills:
Analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret and analyze results.
Experience:
1+ years of experience in the role in food companies.
Language Skills:
Italian & English language knowledge is mandatory.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Behavioral Requirements:
teamwork, ability to adapt in a dynamic company, precision and attention to details, strong interest and passion for quality and the food industry.

Location: Gallarate (VA)
Working hours: Tempo pieno, 40 h/week, from Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required on a rotational basis within the team to ensure laboratory coverage, as production operates 7/7.
