For our Business Unit Transformers we are looking for a Sales Support Specialist whose main responsibilities will be to support the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations and offer product/solution/service related training.
* Prepare/support the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit/feeder factory indications and Sales organization directives. Participate in the kick off meeting organized by the project team.
* Define cost for the proposed solution and communicate to Sales organization.
* Provide information to the risk review process in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy and participate in the risk review assessment when required.
* Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the team; perform lost proposal analysis, identify potential causes, and recommend future actions in cooperation with Sales/Local Business Unit to obtain better future results.
Qualifications
* 3-5 years of working experience as Sales in a similar industry in an international environment
* Technical background (Engineering degree is preferred)
* Previous experience working with electric substation equipment; client-facing experience presenting transformers solutions is considered a plus
* Strong communication and negotiation skills; experience in managing complex customers is considered a plus
* Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and oral
