Position : Flexo Solutions Engineer – Italy EMEALocation : Italy (with frequent travel across EMEA)Overview :A leading global provider of flexographic printing technology is seeking a Flexo Solutions Engineer to join its regional Technical Support team. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-level technical support to customers and channel partners across Italy and other EMEA territories.The successful candidate will work across the full lifecycle of the company's flexographic solutions, supporting flexographic plate technology and imaging systems. This includes remote and onsite assistance, installation and training, proactive service delivery, and collaboration with internal development teams to share field insights.Key Responsibilities :Serve as a key member of the regional Technical Support team, providing expert support for flexographic hardware, software, and media.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both remotely and onsite at customer locations.Conduct pre-installation site assessments to ensure optimal conditions for plate-making system installation.Perform equipment installations, start-up procedures, and end-user training.Deliver proactive services such as preventive maintenance, print trial support, and production audits.Support pilot programs and beta testing for new technologies with selected customers.Collaborate with product development teams by sharing insights from field experiences.Execute system upgrades and assist in the deployment of new solutions.Required Skills Experience :Strong hands-on experience in the flexographic printing industry, including knowledge of print processes, machine components, and troubleshooting methods.Familiarity with flexographic platemaking workflows and related imaging hardware is a plus.Proven ability to work independently in a field-based role with limited supervision.Experience in color management and its application to commercial or packaging printing.Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus.Proficient in standard PC applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.Self-driven, curious, and eager to develop new technical skills.Highly customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence and problem resolution.Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.Willing and able to travel extensively (up to 75%), including international assignments within the EMEA region.This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled print professional looking to join a dynamic and supportive team within a well-established global business.
