Medium Voltage Engineer
Network Components Business Unit, Milan, Prysmian.
What will you do?
* Work on product modularity and standardization across engineering designs.
* Manage and maintain product codes, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and related documentation.
* Control and optimize product costs, supporting cost‑reduction initiatives.
* Support and assist in the product strategy and in the development of customer‑facing features.
* Lead phase‑in/phase‑out activities for product codes and ensure smooth transitions.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Work with Product Management, Operations and other departments to align engineering activities with business goals.
* Utilize CAD tools for design and documentation and SAP for product data management and process integration.
* Collaborate with product development teams to identify and implement technical improvements and innovations.
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
* Proven experience in a manufacturing or product development environment within structured organizations.
* Experience in technical design and product management.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Familiarity with CAD tools and SAP.
* Previous experience in practical laboratory work, including testing and prototyping, is considered a plus.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to various technical challenges.
* Fluent in English.
