Who We Are
In Settimo Torinese, Italy, is active one of the main production centers of L’Oréal Group in the world. The plant's products are distributed in 30 countries. The production site is a full expression of the industrial, social and environmental values of the Group: quality, the result of innovation and control in production, safety of the working environments, minimal impact on the environment. Between 2005 e il 2020 in terms of enviromental management, outstanding results have been reached. The site is in fact carbon neutral since 2015 and since 2018 is also a waterloop factory, that is a production site which consumes water solely as a raw material for products and not for other uses.
We Are Looking For
The Finance Controller is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of costs and revenue, acting as a strategic partner to the plant management. By providing reliable financial data and insights, he/she supports operational decision‑making and ensures compliance with Group policies and local legislation. Acting as a key connector between the plant and the Group's financial functions, he/she drives financial excellence and fosters a culture of transparency and efficiency within the industrial environment. The role requires a proactive professional capable of analyzing complex financial indicators, managing reporting activities, and collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams to achieve the plant's economic goals.
Mission
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of costs and revenue through control activity in order to guarantee internal support and representing an outside point of reference for outgoing data, observing local legislation and compliance with the Group policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in reporting activities for monthly closure, forecasts and budgets
* Elaborate financial indicators
* Support the finance team on internal improvements project
* Support in audits (statutory, internal, compliance)
Requirements
* Master’s degree in Economy/Finance
* Must have 2+ years experience in controlling (experience in an Operations/Manufacturing context is a plus)
* Proficiency in software applications and data analyst programs
* Power BI and SAP knowledge is a plus
* Excellent knowledge of the Italian language and good knowledge of English; French is a plus
