Job Description SummaryModule Integration Leader of the GEnx Accessory Drivetrain – Inlet, Transfer and Accessory Gearbox – and Oil Tank. The Module Integration Leader is a Systems function performing inter and intra‑module integration between Design, PSE, Integrated Manufacturing, Repair, CTP, MCRB, TSD and other Systems functions and the MRO Network, focused on services profitability, manufacturing support and field issue resolution. Serves as the primary technical expert for a given module, protects its integrity and drives technical issues to resolution. The role defines, optimizes, and manages intra‑module and inter‑module interfaces and interactions, including engine‑level sickbay or MRB support. It coordinates rapid communication of issues, provides field issue resolution guidance and support, leads root‑cause investigations, owns the technical management of design changes and certification processes, conducts tech reviews and participates in Program Control Boards (PCB). It also collaborates closely with Program Management and Global Supply Chain organizations.Essential ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute engineering milestones within post‑certification engineering efforts and product qualification.Lead Design Reviews, System Technical Reviews and Program Control Boards (PCB).Lead the change‑in‑design process.Provide inputs and guidance to hardware owners on field problems and production issues and assess changes in design at the system level.Lead field investigations and root‑cause analyses adopting the TOPS8D methodology when required.Support operating cadences – DMS, WOR, MOR – standard work, daily and visual management.Be in charge of budget and relevant work packages, contributing to the forecast process while constantly monitoring costs and time.Directly interact with Internal and External customers, including Airframers, and collaborate and coordinate with Systems, Design, Product Support Engineering, Repair, Overhaul Shops and Global Supply Chain organizations to achieve performance, producibility, cost and part durability targets.Qualifications / RequirementsAerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited university.Previous experience in an Engineering department.Technical expertise and knowledge of Avio Aero and GE Aerospace processes, tools and procedures.Knowledge of gearboxes, modules and components, and Systems Integration.Cross‑functional collaboration skills.Ability to prioritize work, communicate openly, hold meetings, and lead activities focused on targets.Fluent written and spoken English and Italian.Work visa in accordance with local regulation is required.Only current GE Avio Srl employees are eligible.Travel availability required.Desired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills.Clear thinker and effective problem‑solver.Good interpersonal and leadership skills.Aptitude to work in a multicultural environment.Knowledge of aeronautical certification rules.What We OfferSmart working and work‑life balance: hybrid work options and programs promoting psychological safety and daily well‑being.Performance‑related bonuses and a local bonus scheme.Flexible benefits platform.Life and injury insurance.Private medical coverage.Employee assistance program.Employee special awards (service and recognition).Local special agreements and discounts.English and other language training for you and one family member.Technical, leadership and development trainings.Inclusion and diversity initiatives.Relocation assistance: none.Equal Opportunity EmployerAvio Aero is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and we are strongly committed to maintaining an inclusive and diverse environment.
