Career Opportunities: Financial Analyst (6508)
* Works closely with Accounting Manager, providing support also to the rest of Finance team on several periodic accounting and reporting tasks or on ad-hoc requests
* Actively participates in the month-end accounting close process in compliance with US GAAP and Corporate policies
* Performs detailed analyses on general ledger and cost accounting, especially during the month-end closing process
* Provides support for the process of monthly data upload to Group's reporting systems
* He/she is significantly involved in the budgeting process and in the periodic preparation of financial forecasts
* Provides support to audit activities carried out by external or internal auditors, especially in the context of accounting audits and of J-SOX procedures
* Will be significantly involved in the transition to the new ERP system S/4 Hana
Professional requirements:
* Experience (about 2-3 years) in accounting and management/cost accounting, either in an Audit Firm or in industrial and multinational companies
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business economics or equivalent
* Good knowledge of English language
* High familiarity with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Data Warehouses, ERP systems (preferably SAP)
* Knowledge of the main accounting topics, also from an Italian statutory and fiscal point of view
* Strong attitude for problem solving, high analytical skills, strong critical thinking, excellent teamwork skills, marked spirit of initiative, precision, reliability, adaptability and good relational skills
The location (work office) will be in Caleppio di Settala (MI) and Cernusco sul Naviglio. The role is stationary (work from the office), future opportunities of remote working will be discussed once the person is fully integrated in the work organization.
Since the location of the office is not well connected with public transport, it would be ideal if the person could commute with a private car.
