Ph3Job Description /h3 pWe are looking for a bMould Engineer /b for our site in bCasella (Genova, Italy) /b. Although located in Italy, this role operates within the EMEA Engineering team spread across France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from multiple countries and contribute to projects with impact across the European region. /p pYou will be required to travel from time to time across the region. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide technical input to product development or product management to ensure a design that meets performance and manufacturability criteria. /li liPrepare technical specifications for mould sourcing, collaborating with Procurement to provide technical input for mould supplier selection and participate in technical reviews with suppliers. /li liLead the mould sourcing process: provide technical mould design input to suppliers, approve mould design review, obtain mould quotations, and follow up on regular technical reviews. /li liParticipate in project meetings, providing insight and escalation regarding mould aspects, and track and report mould status and progress regularly. /li liParticipate in mould commissioning, collaborating with process and manufacturing engineers. /li liValidate and qualify new moulds, ensuring they meet quality standards and production requirements. /li liTake part in continuous improvement activities across EMEA and/or globally. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liStrong expertise in mould design, tool steels, and injection moulding technologies. /li liSolid understanding of mould manufacturing and plastic injection processes. /li liProficiency in 3D CAD software. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. /li liClear and effective communication skills. /li liExperience working in international, multi‑country environments, ideally within a matrix organization. /li liStrong sense of ownership, rigor, and technical reliability. /li liGood organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple technical topics and timelines. /li liComfortable interacting with suppliers, conducting technical reviews, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. /li liProficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus. /li /ul pAliaxis is proud to be an equal‑opportunity employer who welcomes candidates and employees from all backgrounds.
