Ph3Experteer Overview /h3pAs a Design Engineer at AVL Italia, you create and manage design documentation for powertrain components and assemblies. You develop 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring manufacturability and quality while maintaining documentation in AVL systems. You support lead engineers and project managers and help produce training, knowledge management, and patent materials. Your work enables cross‑functional collaboration to advance AVL’s mission of sustainable mobility and advanced propulsion systems. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliCreate 3D models for components and assemblies per project CAD guidelines. /liliDevelop 2D manufacturing drawings aligned with standards and current production tech. /liliPerform data quality checks and coordinate data exchange with internal/external partners. /liliConduct design checks for package boundaries, assembly processes, and manufacturability. /liliMaintain/update component documentation in AVL‑PDM System and AVL Powertrain Database. /liliSupport lead engineers and project managers during project execution. /liliProvide technical support for resident engineers. /liliAssist in creating documentation for training, knowledge management, and patents. /liliSupport AVL internal part procurement via information exchange with customers and suppliers. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field. /liliPractical work experience in design of powertrain and/or vehicle components. /liliProficiency in 3D CAD systems (Catia and/or Creo). /liliExperience in defining/applying shape, orientation, and location tolerances. /liliFamiliarity with automotive industry standards and processes. /liliEnglish language skills: good to advanced level. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
