SMS UK is urgently seeking a Senior System Administrator / Optical Systems Engineer for a 12-month renewable contract based in Rome, Italy.
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering Degree
- NOKIA Optics Network Planning Specialist / Professional Certification
- Product Accreditation Expert Level in Optical Networks
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience with Passive Optical Networks (FTTH, MAN, Backbone)
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in Optical Network Design & Mapping
- Experience with ArcGIS and/or QGIS
- Knowledge of Asset Management platforms such as Smallworld PNI and/or Hexagon
- Ability to support client-site optical design and mapping activities
Location: Rome, Italy (On-site)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 12 months renewable
