We are seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to serve as a part-time Assistant in our Activities Department. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our senior residents by bringing joy, inspiration, and motivation through engaging recreational activities and therapeutic programs. Responsibilities
Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating a variety of recreational activities tailored to the interests and needs of senior residents Support the Activities Director in creating a lively, inclusive, and engaging environment Foster a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages participation and social interaction Provide recreational therapy activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being Help coordinate special events, outings, and celebrations Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all residents and staff Qualifications
Previous experience in activities coordination, recreational therapy, or a related field preferred Genuine passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Creative, energetic, and able to motivate others Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work Thursday through Sunday Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs At Tuscan Gardens, we pride ourselves on fostering a warm, welcoming community that values growth, compassion, and excellence.
