Mission
The Technical Sales maximizes the sales opportunities, while developing long-term relationships, within an assigned portfolio of accounts (prospects and clients) that may belong to different geographical areas.
This is not a traditional pre-sales role; rather, it’s a full sales role that requires technical skills.
The technical sales role is not just about persuading customers and prospects to buy, or exceeding the sales targets. It also includes admin tasks, sales activity tracking, writing reports, negotiating contracts and getting involved with marketing tasks from time to time. This role may be required to provide technical support to clients once they’ve purchased the products.
Summary
The Technical Sales has the main objective of generating new business from existing customers and prospects, as well as cross/up-sell to existing customers, to achieve and exceed the assigned sales targets.
Creates, retains and develops relationships with existing customers and prospects, through visits, virtual meetings, and workshops to present how the Company and its portfolio of products can vantaggi them and solve their problems.
Customizes the offer by directing its efforts to maximum customer satisfaction.
Develops a thorough knowledge and provides feedback on market trends, competition, and customers’ needs.
Runs the Marketing/Sales campaigns on the assigned portfolio.
Description

·Achieves and exceeds the sales targets for the assigned portfolio
·Expands the customer portfolio in the assigned area, increasing sales and profits
·Makes the Company “top of mind” of customers and prospects
·Manages and interprets their requirements, persuading them that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
·Establishes and nurtures a relationship with customers and prospects, based on profound esteem and respect
·Negotiates offers, terms and conditions, through to their closing, in line with Company’s policies (price lists and discounts) and values
·Confidently and persuasively presents the Company and its product portfolio in order to expand the business
·Tracks sales vs. targets for the assigned portfolio
·Develops accurate
