Megatron Sensors If you are fluent in Italian, Portuguese and Spanish (B2 or above) and you are willing to learn, please keep reading. The role requires 40%+ travel (national and/or international). Mission The Technical Sales maximizes the sales opportunities, while developing long-term relationships, within an assigned portfolio of accounts (prospects and clients) that may belong to different geographical areas. This is not a traditional pre-sales role; rather, it’s a full sales role that requires technical skills. The technical sales role is not just about persuading customers and prospects to buy, or exceeding the sales targets. It also includes admin tasks, sales activity tracking, writing reports, negotiating contracts and getting involved with marketing tasks from time to time. This role may be required to provide technical support to clients once they’ve purchased the products. Summary The Technical Sales has the main objective of generating new business from existing customers and prospects, as well as cross/up-sell to existing customers, to achieve and exceed the assigned sales targets. Creates, retains and develops relationships with existing customers and prospects, through visits, virtual meetings, and workshops to present how the Company and its portfolio of products can benefit them and solve their problems. Customizes the offer by directing its efforts to maximum customer satisfaction. Develops a thorough knowledge and provides feedback on market trends, competition, and customers’ needs. Runs the Marketing/Sales campaigns on the assigned portfolio. Description The following description is indicative and does not include all the activities that may be requested from time to time to the Technical Sales: ·Achieves and exceeds the sales targets for the assigned portfolio ·Expands the customer portfolio in the assigned area, increasing sales and profits ·Makes the Company “top of mind” of customers and prospects ·Manages and interprets their requirements, persuading them that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery ·Establishes and nurtures a relationship with customers and prospects, based on profound esteem and respect ·Negotiates offers, terms and conditions, through to their closing, in line with Company’s policies (price lists and discounts) and values ·Confidently and persuasively presents the Company and its product portfolio in order to expand the business ·Tracks sales vs. targets for the assigned portfolio ·Develops accurate account plans to increase the share of wallet and ensure growth for all company products through up- and cross-selling ·Is the face of the Company for the assigned portfolio of customers and prospects ·Supports the Company's participation in events and exhibitions Requirements – Must Have ·Fluent in Italian, Portuguese and Spanish ·Availability to travel at least 50% of the time (potentially worldwide) ·Customer-centric, relates to customers and prospects ·Perseverance and tenacity, a “no” is an incentive to work harder to sell ·Flexibility and ability to optimally allocate time and resources between current and potential customers ·A proactive problem solver with a sense of urgency ·Gets things done, doesn’t stand still waiting for instructions ·A team player, able to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues ·Extremely well-organized and able to achieve goals and hit deadlines ·Can “survive” in a start-up environment, takes the opportunity to shape things that are not well-defined ·Able to work under stress and eager to learn day by day Requirements – Nice to Have ·Knowledge of other languages ·Sales experience on international markets a plus ·Experience of selling/purchasing technical products ·Experience in sales in thermoregulation a plus ·Experience in Business to Business ·Used to liaising with the purchasing department and technical office (customer side) ·Experience with SAP-B1 ·Proficient user of Microsoft Office – Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP/CERCA.VERT, etc.); Word (e.g. revisions, cross-references); PowerPoint (e.g. timed presentation); Outlook (e.g. categories) – (will be tested during the selection process) Why Join Us : 30+ Years of Excellence Since 1992, Megatron Sensors has been at the forefront of sensor technology, serving customers in 25+ countries worldwide.
