The Information Technology (IT) Support Technician works under the supervision of the IT Services Delivery Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting all client computer hardware, software, and peripherals, providing troubleshooting for all client computer issues across the organization.
DUTIES PERFORMED :
* Handle service requests submitted via ticket system, phone, email, or in person; provide remote or onsite troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical problems promptly, managing requests according to issue priority and SLA guidelines.
* Support Windows-based laptops/desktops, including installation, maintenance, management, configuration, and issue resolution of hardware and software.
* Provide basic troubleshooting and support for networking, printing, and IP telephony systems.
* Document issue resolution and work performed in writing.
* Manage all client system user accounts, including password management, creation, modifications, and deletions.
* Assist with the installation and setup of client systems for new employees, relocations, or hardware replacements.
* Coordinate with the Purchasing Coordinator to maintain an accurate IT asset inventory and assist with purchase requisitions.
* Support the Systems and Network Administrators with project work and emergency issues as needed.
* Participate in weekly on-call rotations to respond to emergency requests appropriately.
* Assist the IT Services Delivery Manager in documenting expenditures, collecting information for annual IT budgets, and preparing reports.
* Establish and maintain good relationships with hardware/software vendors, management, and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education:
* Minimum two-year Associate Degree in Computer, Information Technology, or related field with three years of experience, preferably in healthcare, OR
* Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with two years of relevant experience.
Experience:
* Minimum of two years relevant experience.
