A Bar Manager takes responsibility for the financial success of the Cone Club Bar. They have a range of duties, including administrative, leadership and practical tasks. Their main function is to ensure that they serve and run the bar efficiently and that the customer has the best possible experience. They are also responsible for the success and development of their staff.
Responsibilities

* Lead a small team of bar staff by example, pitching in to help with drink mixing or table service where necessary.
* Ensure that the front‑of‑house is fully staffed, particularly during peak times.
* Meet sales and profitability targets.
* Create a welcoming environment for customers.
* Ensure consistent, high quality beverages are served to customers.
* Deal with customer feedback and provide adequate solutions to customer complaints.
* Create a positive work environment for staff and encourage their career development.
* Monitor inventory of beverages to ensure adequate stock.
* Oversee the cleanliness of staff and the physical bar area and pay attention to possible health hazards and regulation violations.
Requirements
*
* At least 2 years' experience working within a busy bar, pub or restaurant environment.
* Excellent knowledge of the day‑to‑day running of a bar.
* Leadership experience and proven experience managing accounts, taking payments and setting budgets.
* Experience meeting sales targets; experience in marketing is looked upon positively.
* Experience in a customer‑facing role and providing excellent customer service.
* Knowledge of English and Italian. xjrgpwk
