Job Overview
For a Pharmaceutical company, we are looking for an ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST. The role is primarily laboratory-based and focused on supporting the design and implementation of separation science methods within vaccine technical programs at various stages of development and for routine laboratory testing.
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and regularly utilize separative methods for the analysis of vaccine products.
- Independently operate key separative techniques used in vaccine characterization.
- Collaborate closely with senior staff to interpret data and contribute to the design of development work.
- Apply scientifically sound approaches to influence technical decisions and address complex technical issues.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the successful execution of daily tasks.
- Prepare and present scientific data to internal audiences.
- Occasionally write technical documents, such as protocols and reports.
- Communicate effectively with managers and accountable scientists to ensure timely project progression.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.
Main Requirements
- Master's degree in CTF, Analytical Chemistry; PhD is a plus.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to engage in conversations.
- Demonstrated innovative thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of main separative techniques is preferred, including capillary electrophoresis, high-performance liquid chromatography (reverse phase, ion chromatography), and associated detectors (UV, CAD, MS, RI, etc.).
