POSITION OVERVIEWThe Banqueting and Events Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of all the events and will be part of the Banqueting Team, reporting directly to the Banqueting and Events ManagerThe candidate will have the opportunity to participate to special assignments and projects that will enhance their career development and growth. RESPONSIBILITIESAssisting in the planning, implementation and follow up for all special events and buyoutCoordination of events’ logistics, including public relations, production and distribution of Event Riders.Assisting the process of events’ budget development and fulfilmentSupervising vendors’ activities with basic set up and dismantelling of set ups of events, coordinating vendors’ activities and ensuring procedures are followed and in compliance with the property rules.Crisis management if necessaryResponsible for administrative duties such as filing data entry, collecting data for periodical reporting and sales calls reports.Work closely with Banqueting and Events Manager to fulfill internal and external event planning committees and client groups to define event goalsRepresent and deliver service excellence that is in line with the organization’s brand QUALIFICATIONSQUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience in the same role is preferredFluent in verbal and written English Excellent team worker and oriented to detailsProactive with excellent communication skills and customer service experienceAbility to accurately work multitasking under pressure with attention to detailsBENEFITSExcellent growth and progression opportunity as an Events Professional in all Aman propertiesOpportunity to help drive strategies, creative problem solving and shape each of our special eventsCompany uniform, laundry service and Buoni Pasto on duty
