The HSE Specialist will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving our HSE programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of HSE regulations and best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

The HSE Specialist manages Environment, Health, and Safety issues in the Textile Division area. The person supports the HSE Manager of the Textile Division in implementing company guidelines on OSH and ensuring the correct and complete implementation of health and safety regulations within their assigned perimeter.

With the coordination of the HSE Manager, the person supports the Employer and Delegated Managers in Risk Assessment and interfaces with other technical figures and Local Authorities.


Job responsibilities

* Ensure the update and implementation of company guidelines in the HSE area within the Textile Division;
* Monitor applicable regulations in the HSE area and disseminate company directives and worker training programs;
* Collaborate in mapping processes and drafting and implementing procedures and instructions in the HSE field, ensuring uniformity;
* Ensure correct application and monitoring of legal provisions on Health, Safety, and Environment;
* Assist in the application and maintenance of the Integrated Health, Safety, and Environment Management System;
* Promote the proper maintenance of plants, machines, and work equipment to ensure safe and healthy conditions;
* Verify workplaces for compliance with health, safety, ergonomics, accessibility, fire safety, and evacuation requirements;
* Analyze accidents and injuries, suggesting improvements to prevent future incidents and promoting a safety culture;
* Conduct audits and inspections, identify non-compliance, and develop improvement plans;
* Support the HSE Manager in managing the HSE budget.


Profile

* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in manufacturing.
* Deep knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
* Professional certifications such as ASPP are a plus.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with HSE management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001) is desirable.
* Knowledge of sustainability principles and practices.
