We are looking for a Business Functional Analyst to support the development and migration of digital banking solutions to Google Cloud.The client's Know Your Client application gathers information about potential customers, calculates risk, and determines acceptance through a workflow. The solution uses REACT (frontend), Java/Spring Boot (backend) and Oracle Exa-Database (storage). a migration to Google Cloud and rollout of new instances is in progress.LocationRemoteWhat You'll Be Doing Interpret regulatory policy changes and translate them into business and functional requirements for solution development and implementation.Create and execute roadmaps that focus on solution development, present key timelines, milestones and status updates to senior management, and conduct strategic discussions independently.Refine business requirements and align globally across all seven locations in Central Europe, Germany, APAC and the US.Prepare senior‐management slides to package problem statements clearly for both IT and non‐IT stakeholders, and communicate effectively via email, Word and PowerPoint.Collaborate with project management, software engineering and vendors to support the link between business divisions and solution providers for all aspects of solution implementation and maintenance.Document requirements, processes and controls in Confluence and Jira.Support pre‐go‐live change management and assist with SIT and UAT phases.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.In‐depth knowledge of KYC and account opening processes (including AFC and KYC standards) in wealth management, particularly for offshore and high‐risk client structures.Strong social and intercultural competence, analytical and conceptual thinking, autonomy and initiative.Experience in large project or transformation projects within a large financial enterprise.Ability to perform under pressure and engage senior management stakeholders.Strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Agile methodologies.Practical experience with JWT, SAML, REST API, Java, Oracle, SQL, Postman (or similar).Excellent oral and written communication skills with stakeholders across departments and seniority levels up to Managing Director.Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
