OverviewIn this role you will lead Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) at the Merlino site and oversee the Legnano site to ensure a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance. You will drive the Zero & Beyond safety program, elevate risk management and incident learning, and partner with management to sustain Prysmian's safety vision. The position blends hands‐on governance with cross‐site coordination, requiring travel to Legnano weekly. You will shape safety culture, procedures, and training to protect employees and support site growth.ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with legal requirements, ISO 14001/45001/50001, internal standards and environmental permitsEstablish and drive actions to maturity of the safety culture across the organizationCommunicate with management, employees and regulators on HSE matters; deploy safety talks, alerts, and observationsEnsure availability and proper use of safety equipment and PPE; promote safe work proceduresLead near‐miss and incident investigations; ensure effective outcomes and lessons learnedConduct regular HSE audits and inspections to identify improvement areasDevelop and deliver safety training to raise awareness and promote safety culturePlan and coordinate risk assessments; manage risk effectivelyHead the emergency response organization; maintain plans and conduct drills and trainingAnalyze and report on HSE performance metrics to internal stakeholders and government bodiesOversee facilities infrastructure management and ensure compliance with HSE regulationsQualifications & RequirementsFluent in EnglishDegree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering (unknown level)Up to minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE Manager in a production environmentRSPP certification under Italian Legislative Decree 81/08In‐depth knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, risk management, emergency response, and safety management systemsFormal safety qualifications: ISO 45001/14001; ISO 50001 is a plusInternal Auditor certification is an advantage; experience with integrated audit programsStrong communication & interpersonal skillsDecision making, critical thinking and problem‐solving abilitiesStrong teamwork, results orientation and ambitious mindsetBenefitsPermanent ContractFlexible working hoursCanteenHealth InsuranceAnnual Bonus and Share base plansCollaborative environment
