TXT E-Tech, part of TXT Group, is looking for a Quality Engineer for testing and inspection activities on electronic boards and equipment within the aerospace & defense sector, for one of our main clients.
The selected candidate will be involved in supervising and ensuring quality control of production processes for electronic boards intended for space applications, guaranteeing compliance with IPC standards and industry requirements.
Main Responsibilities
* Quality control of production processes (manual and/or automated soldering) of electronic boards for space applications.
* Manage any non-conformities in coordination with the Quality department and the Production Manager.
* Supervise production progress, reporting directly to the department manager.
Required Technical Skills
Certification as IPC Specialist in at least one of the following standards:
* IPC-A-610
* IPC-J-STD-001
* IPC-J-STD-001 Space
* IPC/WHMA-A-620
* FOD certification for electronic production
* ESD certification for electronic production
Optional Technical Skills
* Certification as MASTER IPC Trainer in one or more standards
* Experience in production processes within the space and/or defense sector
Soft Skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
* Ability to manage and coordinate a work group
Education
Technical diploma (electronics, electrical engineering, IT) or degree in engineering.
