A background in Electronic or Avionics Engineering is preferred.DescriptionThe candidate will be responsible for System Verification and Validation and will perform the following activities:Drafting and managing system‐level requirement specifications and test procedures.Validating requirements and test procedures.Integrating Avionic Equipment into the final system/subsystem.Supporting application software integration.Validating/qualifying the system at the functional level through manual and automated test execution, reporting, or analysis as applicable.Supporting functional product certification activities.Supporting on‐field integration activities.Applying Safety Critical and redundancy principles at the avionics system/subsystem level to meet safety requirements defined in SAE ARP 4754A and SAE ARP 4761 for Hazard Catastrophic.Participating in product reviews.Supporting supplier management.Managing problem reports related to performed tasks.Competencies / Technical SkillsProgramming skills in C, C++, LabVIEW/LabWindows CVI, Python; version control and configuration management tools.Basic knowledge of digital and analog electronics.Proficiency with serial buses such as RS232, RS485, RS422, Ethernet, MIL‐STD‐1553B, ARINC 429, CAN, FireWire 1394.Ability to use standard laboratory instrumentation (minimum oscilloscope).Preferably knowledge of avionics Safety Critical systems.Preferably knowledge of automatic control, digital filtering, and signal processing.Preferably knowledge of standards ARP4761, ARP4754A, DO254, DO178, DO160, MIL‐STD‐1760, and related MIL‐STD series.Desirable: basic concepts of radiofrequency, electromagnetic compatibility, and electrical signal integrity.Good English language skills.Required SkillsBachelor's degree in Electronic or Avionics Engineering.Good English language skills.Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeFull‐timeJob FunctionQuality Assurance#J-18808-Ljbffr
