We are hiring a Business Services Team Manager to oversee travel, logistics, events, scheduling, expense policies, and administration. This executive role demands excellent coordination, planning, decision-making, budgeting, procurement, reporting, and management skills. It involves managing large-scale company events, coordinating travel for hundreds of employees across 80 countries, and ensuring operations run efficiently and safely, especially considering visas, travel issues, and unexpected situations. The team also acts as an independent check on expense claims, requiring integrity, transparency, and accountability. Responsibilities include managing tens of millions in operational costs and making tactical decisions. Additionally, the team provides 'EA'-style services for company leaders, including scheduling, report coordination, delegated approvals, and project management. Location: Worldwide, home-based, except in offices like London, Taipei, and Beijing. Leadership and accountability This team impacts every department at Canonical. It requires sound judgment, interpersonal skills, accountability, and a strong work ethic. The team participates in all company events, from planning to safety reviews, establishing relationships with team leaders to ensure smooth execution.
