Founded in 2007 by childhood friends Olivier Bon, Pierre-Charles Cros, and Romée De Goriainoff, and joined by Xavier Padovani in 2010, Experimental has redefined the codes of hospitality by offering a unique experience of contemporary elegance and warmth to a discerning international clientele.

Renowned for bringing the cocktail bar culture to Paris, the group now operates cocktail bars, wine bars, restaurants and, since 2015, hotels.

Over the years, its destinations have expanded from major European capitals such as Paris, London, and Rome to more seasonal locations like Ibiza and Menorca in the summer, or Verbier and Val d’Isère in the winter. The group also has properties in Venice, New York, Biarritz, and the Cotswolds.

ABOUT EXPERIMENTAL ROMA

Opening in mid-2026 on Via Ludovisi, just off the legendary Via Veneto, Experimental Roma will be a vibrant and cinematic new destination from Experimental group.

Housed in a former bank, the hotel has been transformed by interior designer Rodolphe Parente into a space that embodies the essence of la dolce vita : elegant, timeless, and irresistibly Italian.

The property will feature 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a spectacular rooftop with a suspended pool offering breathtaking views over the magnificent cityscape of Rome.

ABOUT THE JOB

Permanent position starting May 2026.

As a Sales Assistant - Groups and Events, you will ensure the sales, organization, and smooth execution of events, from the initial client contact through to invoicing. You will secure seminar and banquet revenue in compliance with internal audit and credit management procedures. You will also manage and develop client relationships. Your key responsibilities will be :



Sales requests & development

* Handle incoming calls, analyze guest needs, and send a personalized offer within 24 hours

* Handle commercial follow up with customers,

* Have thorough knowledge of the hotel’s meetings and seminars offering, as well as the related pricing conditions;

* Maintain good communication with the hotel’s various departments (accommodation, F&B, kitchen, technical services, etc.) and ensure effective information flow;

* Keep the customer database up to date and manage client records, including group follow-up files;

* Contribute to the preparation and optimization of meeting room occupancy schedules,

* Proactively suggest commercial actions while complying with the hotel’s and the brand’s pricing policy and procedures,

* Handle site inspections for future events

* Contribute to the design of promotional documents and marketing materials,

* Ensure the achievement of assigned sales targets,

* Take part in the preparation of activity reports: results, monitoring, and statistics.



Operational event coordination

* Coordinate & monitor the follow-up of service quality during seminars and events,

* Prepare event function sheets and distribute them to relevant departments,

* Participate in guest welcoming and fostering customer loyalty,

* Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the event as well as its smooth execution,

* Collect qualitative feedback from clients after the service delivery to identify areas for improvement,

* Monitor and verify daily billing for seminars and banquet.

ABOUT YOU

You have initial experience in a similar position within a hotel or the sales department of a hotel group.

With excellent presentation and strong commercial awareness, you build and maintain outstanding interpersonal relationships.

You are able to manage several projects simultaneously; experience in a multi-site environment is an advantage.

You demonstrate rigor, strong organizational skills, solid analytical abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for teamwork with a wide range of stakeholders.

You are passionate and identify with values of open-mindedness and high standards.

You are proficient in reporting tools and hotel system.

You have full professional proficiency in Italian and English. Knowledge of additional foreign languages is highly appreciated.
