Ullileading international manufacturing company, /liliwe are looking for /lilithe Plant Director /lilireporting to the Vice President Operations. /liliPurpose and responsibilities of this role /li /ulpThe Plant Director’s primary responsibilities include the daily management and coordination of plant operations while ensuring profitability of operations and compliance with all labor, safety, environmental and corporate policies and regulations. More specifically and in collaboration with their management team, this position oversees all activities related to operations, namely : Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance Engineering, Health Safety, Quality and Human Resources. This key role provides leadership to his / her facility and ensures efficient communications between all departments under his / her responsibility. /pulliMain responsibilities /liliPlan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations. /liliEnsure that the Plant is managed and runs in a manner that Safety, Environmental, Quality, Production and Cost Control goals are met. /liliParticipate in various activities related to safety, quality, productivity, innovation, information and data security, supply management, people management, HR and other delivery /liliBe responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping. /liliBuild and maintain a trusting relationship with employees; communicate about performance expectations and give useful feedback to employees. /liliDetermine KPIs and measure them on a regular basis. /liliAdhere to company's rules and regulations. /liliStay up to date with latest production trends, best practices and technology. /liliActively engaging plant personnel in the process of Continuous quality Improvement and Customer Satisfaction. /liliPrevious working experience as a Plant Manager or Production Manager in complex organisations. /liliIn-depth knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources) /liliSolid experience with various aspects of business such as safety, production, HR, supply and other. /liliPrevious experience / best practices implementing and using continuous improvement / lean tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc. to drive improvement is a plus /liliProfile /liliBS degree in Business Management or similar relevant field /liliOutstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills /liliExcellent organizational and time management skills /liliDemonstrated ability to motivate people, assess and develop employees skills /liliExcellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance production and maintenance needs; /liliA strong ability to be adaptable and flexible; /liliStrong analytical, decision-making skills and proactive problem solver /liliWorking location /liliParma /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
