Your Role in VT Markets
As Country Manager – Italy (Forex), you will lead the company’s business expansion and operations in the Italian market. You will play a pivotal role in developing market-specific strategies, building strong relationships with Introducing Brokers (IBs), affiliates, and partners, and ensuring compliance with Italy financial regulations. You will work closely with regional and global teams, including marketing, product, legal, and operations, to deliver a unified growth approach.
This is a remote position based in Italy. You will work during local business hours from your home.
Market Entry & Strategic Development
Lead and execute localized go-to-market plans to grow VT Markets’ presence in Italy. Utilize market insights to enhance brand visibility and identify new business and partnership opportunities.
Implement sales promotions tailored to the Italian market.
Hire, train, and lead a high-performing sales team. Monitor team performance, adjust strategies as needed, and mentor staff to improve client engagement and service quality.
Marketing Strategy & Brand Alignment
Manage Italian-specific marketing campaigns in alignment with global initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify market opportunities and potential risks.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on audits and documentation. Stay updated on market and regulatory changes.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
Analyze competitors, market trends, and customer needs. Provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions and improve market positioning.
Provide timely feedback and reports to ensure smooth operations.
Achievement of set business development targets (monthly/quarterly) in terms of IB acquisition, client growth, and revenue generation.
Development of a strong and active network of IBs and affiliate partners in Italy .
Clear contribution to Italy market penetration and VT Markets’ regional revenue.
Representation of VT Markets at local industry events and forums.
5+ years of experience in the Forex/CFD industry, particularly in business development, sales, or market management.
~ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field. (Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the forex industry.
~ Deep understanding of the Italian financial market and its regulatory environment.
~ Experience in managing relationships with forex brokers, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
~ Strong personal network of IBs and affiliates within Italy.
In-depth knowledge of the forex industry, including trading platforms (MT4, MT5), financial instruments, and regulatory requirements.
Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) for sales and pipeline tracking.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting and PowerPoint for presentations.
Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities with high emotional intelligence and cultural awareness.
Self-starter who thrives in an autonomous, remote environment.
Native Italian language proficiency and fluency in English.
Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.
