GSS - Tech Sourcing Recruiter AWS, WWAS TA C Sourcing
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Tech Sourcer to support talent acquisition for Data Center Engineering and Infrastructure Operations roles across North America (USA). This is a contractual role. Locations: Hyderabad. Shift Timing: 6:00 pm – 3:00 am IST.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Data Center and Infrastructure Hiring – Experience sourcing for data center operations, critical facilities, or industrial, mechanical, electrical, IT infrastructure roles or cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP). Relevant academic backgrounds including degrees or certifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Sciences, HVAC, electrician trades, facilities maintenance, and IT‑related fields will be required.
2. Boolean and Advanced Search – Ability to create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills across LinkedIn, X‑ray search / Open Web, GitHub, trade forums, and specialized job boards will be an added advantage.
3. Candidate Engagement for Passive Talent – Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing and screening candidates in specialized technical fields, with ability to articulate a role‑based value proposition to the candidate. Building strategies and brainstorming to create efficient and creative sourcing solutions for stakeholders.
A Day in the Life
1. Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X‑ray search / Open Web, and other sourcing channels for remote sites.
2. Conduct candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit, with ability to filter the right candidates during a recruiter phone screen.
About the Team
The role holder will be a part of Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team, which is a central sourcing team for WW Amazon Talent Acquisition (ATA) team. We scout bar‑raising talent spanning across Americas (NA, LATAM), Europe, AMET, and India to enable and scale cost‑efficient sourcing solutions in tech, non‑tech, and high‑volume space.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives and pipelines
* Experience in progressive corporate or search‑firm recruiting with a focus on passive engineering candidate generation in a high‑tech market
* 2+ years of passive candidate generation experience
* Experience in conducting candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit, with ability to filter the right candidates during a recruiter phone screen
* Boolean and Advanced Search
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate or baccalaureate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Facilities Management, or a related technical field
* Prior experience sourcing for AWS, hyperscale cloud, or co‑location Data Center environment
* Experience in any 1 or 2 tech hiring domains: full‑stack, back‑end and front‑end engineers; data analytics including data scientist (AI/ML) and engineers; understanding of any 2–3 programming languages or key tech stacks such as Python, Java, SQL, ETL, data pipelines, Hadoop, Spark, Big Data, or similar technical landscape
