What do we offer?
Job Summary
Your main role will be to provide effective maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, and special systems throughout the Data Center to minimize breakdowns and downtime and maximize operating efficiencies.
Responsibilities
* Carry out an intensive program of planned preventive/corrective maintenance for the building and utilities.
* Perform routine maintenance on all company machinery and equipment, including fault finding, problem solving, and minor repairs to minimize downtime.
* Complete all maintenance logs, schedules, etc., accurately and timely to comply with Health and Safety legislation and company, insurance, and ISO requirements.
* Coordinate with external contractors and assist them on site as needed.
* Ensure adequate supplies of spare parts are available on site.
* Create and update technical files for plant and equipment.
* Conduct health and safety checks and inspections regularly, taking corrective actions as needed.
* Perform minor mechanical, electrical, and special systems repairs, minimizing risk and inconvenience.
* Make minor modifications to mechanical, electrical, and special plants as required.
* Follow quality procedures, including calibration of measuring equipment.
* Troubleshoot and maintain office equipment if required.
* Review and suggest improvements for processes, procedures, and systems.
* Report major breakdowns, problems, delays, or downtime promptly.
* Liaise with suppliers to clarify technical details and resolve issues.
* Perform any other duties or projects assigned by management.
Qualifications
* Good literacy and numeracy skills with relevant mechanical/electrical engineering qualifications.
* Availability for overtime and on-call duties.
* Good attendance and punctuality record.
* Results-driven, team-oriented, with a sense of ownership.
